Following the Church Ceremony, the guests are transported to Sonnerupgaard Manor

either by the organised bus transport or by their own means. The Reception and the Party

will be held at the old stone barn (Laden). Those staying at the Manor overnight will get

their room keys at the entrance to the barn.

 

The Reception

The reception will start at 4 p.m. and the newlyweds will join it shortly after, once their

photographs have been taken. According to the Finnish tradition, once the newlyweds

have arrived to the venue, the bride and the groom as well as their parents will line up to

receive congratulations from the guests.

 

The Party

The wedding party itself starts at 6 p.m. and runs as follows:

 

Wedding buffet (including speaches and Danish songs)

Wedding cake and coffee

Wedding waltz

Various programme

Dancing
