Copenhagen has an excellent public transportation system. To get from the Airport to the centre, just take the metro or the train. The metro leaves straight from the airport (terminal 3). Remember to buy the ticket BEFORE you get on the metro though to avoid having to pay fines... To go from the airport to the centre, you have to buy ticket for 3 zones. Should you wish to travel all the way to Vanlose, you need to buy a ticket for 4 zones. There are machines at every metro station (but before the platform!) where you can buy tickets.
